Message from our YWD Co-Chair Elisa Rubell
As chair of the Young Women's Division for 2007, I look forward to continuing my duties in 2008. I will be co-chairing the division with Joliene Hamodot, a fresh face and new Guardians member. Both Joliene and I, along with the entire Young Women's Division are excited about what has been going on with the Young Divisions (particularly all of the new members) and look forward to a larger group forming in 2008.
What I am most proud of with the Young Women's Division is the recent involvement of new members who will be joining our already phenomenal group of young women. With a goal in mind of continuously bringing new members to the group and raising awareness about the Guardians organization as a whole, the YWD is looking forward to an exciting 2008!
We will be taking over the Breakfast Speaker Series as well as build upon the recent success of the first Guardians Bowl-a-thon. We are confident we can turn this event into an annual Guardians-wide event and look forward to especially introducing some new women's networking events as well.
The Young Women's Division is very passionate about the Guardians organization and will continue to help raise awareness and spread the word about the Jewish Home for the Aging and our ultimate goals in fundraising. Much attention has been brought to the Guardians as a result of our ongoing mixers with the Young Men's Division. We see the mixers as the ultimate networking tool for the Young Divisions as a whole and will continue to pull in new members as a result of such functions.
Happy, healthy New Year to you and yours.
Elisa Rubell
